HOW IT WORKS
Learners work on international projects that are based on real-world challenges that promote teamwork and creative collaboration.
STAGE ONE - QUESTIONS
Each project starts with a 2 hour what if? session, designed to provoke curiosity which leads to more questions.
STAGE TWO - RESEARCH
Then Learners organize into small diverse teams and collaborate using their devices to develop creative solutions.
STAGE THREE - SOLUTIONS
Each team then presents their solutions, together. This is one of the most important elements of the project as it gives them a chance to work as a creative team, where they are able to be unique, together.
About the Founder
Norman Mayers, a.k.a. Professor N, is an international Creative Director and Educator known for designing and presenting innovative learning experiences for young people who think differently. He is the Inventor of the educational framework, REMIX Learning, and the Founder of the Creative Thinkers Lab, where young people in the Caribbean develop creative thinking skills by remixing diversity, creativity and collaboration.
Professor N has been a passionate ambassador of creativity throughout the Caribbean since relocating there from NYC in 1990. Norman is on the board of directors at the Caribbean Dyslexia Centre in Barbados and is the author of Cultural DJ, Multiplying creativity by REMIXING THE WORLD, a vibrant guidebook applicable to anyone interested in the fusion of creativity and diversity. He is also a contributor to Invent Future Global and FUTURA, the online magazine that support students from around the world to develop and improve their problem-solving skills.
